Production

The production of CBD (cannabidiol) involves several steps. It essentially includes hemp cultivation, harvesting & drying, extraction & cleaning, formulation & mixing as well as packaging & sales.

Since January 1, 2021, hemp is no longer subject to agricultural seed law in Switzerland. The Federal Office of Agriculture is thereby enabling the production and marketing of seeds and seedlings for the production of so-called “CBD hemp” in agriculture. According to Bio Suisse guidelines, the cultivation of various types of hemp (Cannabis sativa L) is now very successful and widespread. Depending on the variety, numerous products can be made from different parts of the plant.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring chemical compound from the resinous flower of the hemp plant.

CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural compound found in the female hemp plant. CBD is one of over 100 cannabinoids that have been discovered in cannabis plants. Unlike THC, CBD does not cause psychoactive effects.

According to current legal regulations in Switzerland, CBD products that contain less than 1% THC do not require a prescription. The production and sale of CBD products are subject to certain legal regulations.

CBD oil is an oil that contains CBD (cannabidiol). In addition, depending on the manufacturer, CBD oils contain a carrier oil. In our case it is sunflower seed oil. Full-spectrum oils contain the full spectrum of plants; in addition to cannabinoids, there are also terpenes and flavonoids.

Full Spectrum Oil contains the entire variety of ingredients of the hemp plant, while Broad Spectrum OIL contains no THC.

The entourage effect is the synergistic interaction between the various compounds in the cannabis plant, especially in hemp. The combination of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids can produce a more comprehensive and potentially more effective effect than isolated compounds alone.
